The TDK 180 N is a tandem – 3 – way tipping trailer specialised in the transport of earthmoving work, sand, gravel or the transport of construction machinery. Also ideal for park or horticultural companies, municipal enterprises as well as for agriculture. An all-rounder in every respect.
The vehicle has extensive standard equipment, that has been worked out to meet the customer’s needs.
The 5mm HARDOX base plate provides particular stability. HARDOX wear plate is the world’s leading abrasion resistant AR steel. HADROX is hard through and through, from its surface to its core, offering users extended life and high productivity even in the toughest environments. The base board is 600mm high and is also made of HARDOX.
Flexibility and comfort
The base plate also has 4 pairs (8 pieces) of lashing eyes recessed in the floor to be able to secure unit loads flexibly and always at exactly the right point. The optimum load securing. The sideboard lifting springs support the movement of the lateral sideboards. At the rear, the hydraulic ballast flap can be easily operated via the tractor hydraulics. The ballast flap is mounted on a continuous tube for maximum stability. When open, the ballast flap tilts 30 degrees below the platform so that all goods slide off optimally. Two large-dimensioned industrial cylinders ensure maximum stability and a long service life.
For support, a saddle support winch is installed, that has 2 speeds. The speed and force can be adjusted individually and as required.
Chassis
The chassis is made of a stable rectangular tube frame with a torsion resistant construction.
The parabolic springs are installed underneath the axle.
The low-profile design gives the vehicle a low center of gravity and thus features a low loading height. Another advantage of the low-profile design is the quiet and rich tracking characteristics.
The installed axles are from the manufacturer BPW and are suitable for road registration with 25/40 km/h.
Fenders and wheel chocks are fitted as standard. The rear lighting is protected with a grille to provide for stone chips. A toolbox is permanently attached to the frame, in which everything useful for the road can be safely stowed.
Lacquering
The steel parts are treated with a special surface coating. This includes a special primer that provides additional corrosion protection.
This modern dip coating process starts with cleaning and degreasing the parts by immersing them in various baths.
Subsequently, the automatic continuous coating machine guarantees uniform coating with the ACC primer (homogeneous coating). The intense heating burns in the ACC and seals each part. After drying inside and outside, the parts are powder coated and painted with the appropriate colour.
This elaborate process ensures a unique corrosion protection, UV resistance as well as durability!
Drive-up ramps
Two slide-in options for drive-up ramps are integrated in the vehicle. With the help of the aluminium loading rails with low height and high grip, you are always very flexible. In addition, the loading rail achieves very good load-bearing capacity values due to its cross-section. They can be ordered as accessories.
